The Newlyfriend Game with How to Cook That’s Ann Reardon

Recently I had the chance to collaborate with one of my favorite YouTubers, Ann Reardon from How to Cook That! I love her channel so much and even though I don’t do a ton of baking myself, her voice-overs are so soothing and I love seeing all the steps to make her beautiful desserts. In true YouTube fashion, we filmed The Newlyfriend Game on my channel and The Bean-Boozled Challenge on her channel. Keep reading to check out the videos and learn some behind-the-scenes tidbits!

This was the first time I had done The Newlyfriend Game and I had so much fun learning more about Ann and trying to come up with the answers for myself! I’m obsessed with these lap whiteboards which I got on Amazon, and we actually ended up using them in a bunch of videos at VidCon. Also a huge thanks to the crew who shot this video with professional cameras and lighting and microphones and all that jazz, and to Kin Community for hosting the shoot at their offices. It was still edited by me though!

I had never done The Bean-Boozled Challenge before, and I was so nervous since gross food is not my idea of a good time. But it actually wasn’t too bad, since all of the jelly beans were sweet enough that sometimes I couldn’t even tell the difference between the good and bad flavors! I get the feeling a lot of people who have done this challenge before were seriously playing up their reactions for the camera.

Jennifer from Sea Lemon and Gemma from Gemma’s Bigger Bolder Baking were also in the video, and they shot their own collabs with Ann as well. If you’re looking for some talented lady YouTubers to follow, definitely check out all of their channels:
