The Crafting in Slow Motion video is finally here! I premiered this video at Buffer Festival last week and I’m so happy that it’s finally out in the world for everyone to see. It’s a little different than my normal DIY videos, but I really wanted to explore the beauty of craft supplies, and I am a bit obsessed with slow motion videos. Keep reading to watch the video and learn more about it!
As I said at the end of the video, I’ve had this idea since last year’s Buffer Festival, and I’m so happy I managed to get it done. My mantra for this video became “Better Done Than Perfect,” especially since I shot it in the middle of moving apartments, so everything was a total mess for a while there. I definitely want to make a Part 2 someday, with better lighting and a nicer camera, so let me know if there are any other craft supplies you want to see me feature.
The music is The Coldest Darkness by Andrew Huang. Before I even started shooting, I knew that Andrew probably had a piece of music that would be perfect for this video, from somewhere in his huge library. Definitely check out his channel and his Bandcamp is you want to hear even more of his work.
I had a great time at Buffer Festival, and a huge thank you to Corey Vidal and the rest of the Buffer team for inviting me and letting me premiere this video. Be sure to share it with any of your friends who like DIY projects and subscribe to my channel for even more crafting and graphic design videos. I’ll see you guys soon in my next video!
