Today on HGTV Handmade, I’m showing you how to make three DIYs out of one blanket scarf! I visited Austin recently, so the first DIY is with my fellow Handmade crafter Julia. We made cute pillow covers together, and then when I got home, I had tons of leftover fabric so I decided to also make a Christmas ornament and a wreath!
These pillows are so cute for fall, and you can make tons of them with just one scarf. I especially love the pom poms on the corners, and they’re surprisingly easy to make!
The fabric of the scarf is pretty rustic, so I decided to also make a Christmas ornament using a mason jar lid and a Perler Bead snowflake, just like I showed you how to make on Monday. I think your tree would look amazing if you made tons of these with all different fabric swatches!
And then I think the wreath is my favorite craft of all. It’s so easy to make, and it’s temporary, so once the season is over, you can cut off all the fabric and reuse the foam insert!
I hope you guys liked these three projects, and be sure to check out the video on HGTV Handmade for the full DIYs. Happy fall, and I’ll see you all again on Friday with two new DIY projects!
