Today on HGTV Handmade, I’m showing you how to make giant gift bows, and scale them up and down to be any size you like! Keep reading to see a few different examples of the gift bows I made and to watch the full DIY video!
I love this giant duct tape gift bow! Duct tape is easy enough to work with that you could make it as big as you like, just as long as you have enough tape on hand. And, since it’s made of duct tape, you can use it to decorate outdoors as well as inside!
I used mine to wrap up my craft cabinet like a giant present, but you could also do the same thing for your front door.
If you don’t have quite as much tape on hand, I made this one the exact same way, only with all the measurements cut in half. I also used three different colors of tapes to make it a little more visually interesting, and I love how it came out.
Since it’s made of duct tape, it’s virtually indestructible, so you could re-use it year after year!
And finally, I made another giant bow out of wrapping paper to decorate my living room. It fills up a lot of space for very little money, so this is a great decorating idea if you’re on a budget.
Thank you so much for reading and checking out my crafts, and come back every Friday for a new Christmas DIY project! Make sure you’re subscribed to my main channel for the DIY videos, and follow me on Twitter and Instagram for more photos! Happy Holidays!
