Today is the first day of my Holiday DIY videos! I’ve got five easy and cute Christmas Decorations for you, so keep reading to learn how to make all of them!
First up is this ADORABLE mini pom pom garland that I put onto a tabletop tree. I think it’s so cute, and the mini pom poms look like Christmas lights. You could make one with bigger pom poms too and use it to decorate a larger tabletop tree!
I styled it with a gold deer that I bought at Target!
This project is one of my favorites of all time! All you have to do is glue mini bottlebrush trees to the tops of toy cars and tie a ribbon or twine around the whole thing. And to take it to the next level, paint your car with gold gilding paint to make it metallic. I think it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever made!
This project wasn’t one that I planned on, but I love it! I found this ornament at Target and painted it white and gold to get a modern, quirky skull ornament that I made in just a few minutes!
A little confession: I only display the holiday cards I get that fit in with my color scheme. This year I’m all about green, gold, and silver, and I put up my cards with DIY Clothespin Magnets that you can use to display things on your fridge all year long!
And finally, I just had to paint this giant pinecone with gold gilding paint, because I’m me and I need to paint everything gold. It looks expensive, but all it took was a $5 bag of pinecones from Michaels and a $5 pot of gilding paint!
I hope you guys like these DIYs. Stay tuned until Friday for some Harry Potter ornament DIYs, then more Christmas projects next Tuesday, and then my full Christmas decorations tour next Friday. In the meantime, if you want to share any of these projects on Facebook, I have social cuts of the video up now! Happy holidays!
